rsc.jordan.house.gov Amidst the turmoil of the 111th Congress, which included such egregious legislation as Cap-and-Trade and ObamaCare, the Republican Study Committee created this video to illustrate how Washington has strayed from the ideas that made our nation great. Freedom and prosperity do not spring from government’s power to tax, borrow, and spend. Instead we must get Washington out of the way and allow private enterprise to thrive. Good ole US Traitor, who sold Our US Taxpayer owned weapons to Our enemy Iran, ronald reagan, was actually very strongly Pro-Union and for Taxing the Rich, and very closely resembles President Barack Obama in his opinions on how to tax the super-rich. The current gop, which is not a political party any longer, and doesn’t resemble the republican party of the past, is a Cult of religious Kooks who are trying to hijack Our Secular country and draw it back into Primitive times where Man hadn’t discovered fire and thought thunder was their imaginary, man-made “god” scratching its goody bag. The gop Cult is comprised of creatures that cheer the death of 234 human beings, boo Our Troops and applaud the death of the uninsured. They are a dwindling pack of malicious anti-American animals that live in a fantasy world and have disregarded reality for so long, they believe their fantasies are real and reality is not. It’s about the only thing that explains how they vote against their own interests while enabling the Ultra-Rich to become infinitely richer. They’re dumb and crazy, a dangerous combination that results in damage to Our Secular Nation.

Part One of a two-part biography of President Ronald Reagan written and produced for ABC News. Narrated by then-White House Correspondent Sam Donaldson.

*UPDATED* Fixes Include – Spelling, Enhanced Sound and Visuals, Reagan & Paul picture refurbishment I received quite a bit of good feedback on this video with most saying things along the lines of “great work, I just wish it was a little more polished…and then there is that spelling error.” Admittedly those comments eventually ate away at me so with a little extra time on my hands today I did a little housekeeping and managed to get around to fixing this clip. Of course I’m sure as soon as I upload it I will notice something else I missed, but I’ll have to find a way to live with it :-) Many candidates reminiscence about the strong leadership of Ronald Reagan, but what did Reagan think about one of the candidates… Music Artist: Godspeed You Black Emperor! Song: Storm

Reagan makes a witty response to a question about his age.

View the full speech here: millercenter.org Broadcast to the American people from the Oval Office. Reagan mentions two triumphs from his presidency: the economic recovery and the recovery of American morale. He discusses America’s changing relations with the Soviet Union and shares his regret for the deficit that deepened during his time in office. He concludes by addressing America’s sense of patriotism and refers to the nation as “a shining city on a hill.” January 11th, 1989

The Reagan assassination attempt occurred on March 30, 1981, just 69 days into the presidency of Ronald Reagan. While leaving a speaking engagement at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC, President Reagan and three others were shot and wounded by John Hinckley. Reagan suffered a punctured lung, but prompt medical attention allowed him to recover quickly despite his age. No formal invocation of presidential succession took place, although a controversial statement by Secretary of State Alexander Haig that he was “in control here” marked a short period during which Vice President George HW Bush was physically absent, flying back to Washington, DC aboard Air Force Two. Hinckley was found not guilty by reason of insanity and has remained confined to a psychiatric facility.
